The Perth Royal Show

Every spring, the Perth Royal Show comes alive at Claremont Showgrounds. From cute animal petting zoos to thrilling rides, there’s something for everyone. With over 300 performances, keep your kids entertained for hours. Be sure to get your tickets online as there are no ticket sales at the door this year.

Dinosaurs of Patagonia

Be in awe and take in the sheer size of the creatures that roamed Earth 145 million years ago at the WA Museum Boola Bardip. The exhibition boasts 16 full scale skeleton casts of the dinosaurs, with 3D animations and interactive displays, and is sure to truly entertain the whole family. Be quick, the exhibition ends on Sunday 23rd of October.

3D Mini Golf

With the unpredictable weather, sometimes it’s difficult to find activities that will keep the whole family busy and entertained. The first of its kind in Australia, 3D mini golf is the perfect family activity. Located South of Fremantle, be treated to a spectacle of colours and art that is out-of-this-world whilst playing a game of mini-golf.

Hiking at Whistlepipe Gully

Are your kids stuck looking at the screen? Take them for a nature walk at Whistlepipe Gully! Located only 30 minutes away from the CBD, there’s endless fun in exploring the bushland and taking in the fresh air. The best thing about this is - it’s free!

Ziplining the Matagarup Bridge

Frozen the Musical

A must-see this spring - Disney’s hit movie Frozen is live on stage at Crown Theatre. A musical for all ages, sing along to some of the movie’s hit songs (think Let it Go, Do you Want to Build a Snowman and Love Is An Open Door). Get your tickets here.

Perth Zoo

A classic family attraction, get up close and personal with some of Perth Zoo’s exotic animals. Hear the lions roar and watch the monkeys swing from branch to branch. Treetop Adventures

Looking to get away from the city? Take a day trip to Dwellingup or Yanchep and take on the 2.5 hour obstacle course situated above the ground.
